WLA fines Timbermen for off floor altercation

Saturday's WLA lacrosse game in Nanaimo ended with an altercation off the floor.

Players scratched from the lineup for the Timbermen and Langley thunder were involved in a fight near the corridor to the dressing room area at Frank Crane Arena.

After the melee the WLA fined the Timbermen $1000 and fined the Thunder $500.

Two Langley players, Brodie MacDonald and Brandon Clelland were also suspended one game for leaving the bench.

The Timbermen will play the Thunder again Wednesday night in Langley.
