Blue Jays alumni team up with Nanaimo Minor Baseball

Some famous Toronto Blue Jays are in Nanaimo Monday.

A group that includes Roberto Alomar, his father Sandy, along with Duane Ward and Lloyd Moseby will be offering a baseball clinic in the afternoon, and they’ll be at a fundraiser in the evening.

The clinic for 7-17 year olds is from 2pm to 4pm at the 3rd Street Fields, and the fundraiser is at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre at 5:30pm.

Registration details for the clinic, and ticket information for the fundraiser are online at nanaimominorbaseball.ca.

Roberto Alomar is a two World Series Champion for the Blue Jays, and a 12 time All Star.
