NANAIMO — One year after their community was devastated by the news of the Humboldt Broncos bus tragedy, Nanaimo hockey players are banding together once again.

NANAIMO — The gift of sight has been granted to hundreds thanks to the efforts of a Nanaimo Hospital unit clerk.

Judy Cook said she saw the harm being done by a shortage of enucleation technicians at the hospital as numerous eye donation requests were being turned away.

The 12-day-old goat was last seen in an open field with roughly 50 people enjoying time with the sweet, soft animals.

NANAIMO — You wouldn't be able to tell the crowd at the first all-candidates debate Thursday night have already voted five times in the last two years.
